Although many fine Canadian designers and artists were creating unusual and interesting jewelry during the period of 1960s to the 1980s, their work has not been popular in the United States until recently. Working in non-precious materials, Canadian artists Rafael, Larin, de Passille-Sylvestre, Morin, and the Perriers created their jewelry in brass, copper, silver, and steel.
