This is a fine example of the simplicity and craftsmanship of
the Arts & Crafts movement. The cut our designs and the different kinds
of metalwork in this silver dress clip show the true creativity of the
artist using fundamental techniques to create a thing of beauty.
This Arts and Crafts dress clip is in excellent, original condition
with great patina. It is unmarked but I believe it's either sterling or a
slightly lower grade of silver. The clip is tight and secure and the size
is 2 x 2 inches with the center slightly domed for a soft, dimensional
affect when worn. |
