Nice, small hand-carved shell cameo pin/pendant of a woman with flowers in her hair. The cameo is bezel set into a twisted rope frame in unmarked gold metal which is probably gold-filled.
This shell cameo is in excellent condition with secure safety clasp and hinged loop for wearing as a pendant. The carving is nice and clean but not spectacular. I would guess this piece probably dates to the 1970s or later and would be a wonderful choice to begin a cameo collection. Size is 3/4 x 1 1/4 inches. |
