This is an extraordinary Arts & Crafts brooch with a bronzed metal finish. The circle design has a beaded edge with scrolled openwork surrounding the sold center which is finely engraved with Ginko leaves. These are superbly done and extremely graceful pieces. The center is a high-domed, bezel-set cabochon of either natural amethyst or amethyst glass.
This vintage sash pin is in excellent, original condition with a beautiful finish, a gilded back and an older 'C' clasp. I can't say enough about how beautiful this piece is and what a wonderful addition it would make to any vintage jewelry collection.
Measurements are somewhat smaller than some other sash pins at 1 3/4 inches across and a depth of 3/8 inches. |
