This vintage fur clip is marked 'made in France' on the clip mechanism and has bronzy finish. Fur clip is cast metal in the shape of a leaping from with great detail. He has a cross-hatch body, two bulging froggy eyes, with his legs poised to leap at any second.
This French frog fur clip is in excellent, original, and unpolished condition with lovely patina. Clip mechanism is tight and secure. This is a weighty piece and very well made. The picture doesn't show how wonderful this frog is.
Fur clips are quite versatile and can be worn safely on heavier materials like a coat or jacket, but would also work well on a heavy sweatshirt. Be creative!
