This is an Arts & Crafts brooch, dating to the turn of the 20th century and is made to look like a buckle. It has an all-over engraved textured design and two repousse foliate swirls on the basic oval design.
This vintage Arts & Crafts brooch is in excellent, original, unpolished condition with wonderful patina. It has the old style 'C' clasp with heavy pin stem.
