Mythological brooch, signed Otis Sterling, has an openwork center with applied Centaur shooting an arrow. Figure differs from classic centaur image by having what looks like a whale's tail and is simply stunning. Twisted rope border has blooming chrysanthemums on either side of the centaur.
This Otis Sterling brooch is in excellent, original condition with a secure safety clasp. Quite dimensional measuring 1 7/8 x 1 1/4 inches. |
